Let me first say that Dr. Vincent's presentations on soul winning and reclamation were both inspirational and practical. Our people were greatly encouraged to believe that they too can be instrumental in soul winning endeavors for the Kingdom. As a Pastor, I have created my own replica of the invitation cards that Dr. Vincent shared with us. Our members now use them to invite others to church. The cards are used in the market place of life as an evangelistic tool to reach both friends and those with whom we come in contact with.
The information that Dr. Vincent shared on reclamation: Reaping what you Keep is priceless. The presentations were very relevant in addressing the crucial concern of reclaiming the missing members of our churches, and how to retain those that are in the church pews. When I became the conference president on September 28, 2014, only one third of conference membership were attending church. Today, four years later, we are happy to report that we have seen a 5 to 7% increase in church attendance with those who have returned to church. Our church members are actively calling and visiting those who once walked among us. Church members across the conference are being very intentional about the ministry of reclaiming those who once walked with us.
